MELINA

was born in Chile, as a child she always felt a strong connection with plants and animals. Influenced by her family, a close interaction with nature was always essential and natural in her life. During her youth she traveled through the Americas, where, inspired by nature and the contact with different cultures, she started a career in the photography. Although Melina's career is in the Arts, the real foundations of her knowledge comes from the living experience of her life, through the direct contact with her family, different cultures, places, plants and animals.

In 2014 Melina’s life took an unexpected turn. She experienced a complicated and unknown auto-immune disease. She spent over one month in the hospital under intensive care, where she slowly lost all sensation and mobility in her body.  This paralysis remained undiagnosed and she was sent back home without any solutions. This situation ended up shifting Melina’s perspective around medicine & healing.

IIt was back home that she came to understand that healing is a holistic process, one that starts from within and is supported by many components such as the physical body, emotions and spirit.  This was a turning point in her life, and after a slow recovery she dedicated herself to continue healing through food, habits and the cultivation of spirit & magic. Now, venturing into herbs and food has given her a tool in which she can share her knowledge in these areas.

was born in Canada and, as the son of two engineers, he was instilled with a love and curiosity for understanding the natural world from a very young age. After receiving his Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biochemistry he moved to Sweden to continue his studies in the natural sciences, where he would earn his Master of Science in bio and nano materials chemistry. Although he had always seen himself continuing down the path of academia, he felt something was missing from his experience and he decided to spend the next few years travelling and exploring the world.

Niklas had always experienced mild digestive issues, but after settling in Australia his symptoms worsened and he was diagnosed with IBS. After experiencing daily pain and anxiety for nearly two years, with only mild symptom relief being offered by western medical treatments, he decided to go see an Ayurvedic doctor on the recommendation of a friend. This was the window into a new way of living and experiencing the world for Niklas. After only a few months, his IBS symptoms almost completely disappeared, and with time he gained a deeper understanding of his body and how habits and diet play such an important role in our health.

Now he dedicates his time to researching traditional plant remedies and practices under the scope of science.
